Villa Spencer is an absolute gem!
Our family of 6 spent 3 months in this beautiful spot. The house and amenities are lovely and functional, with a large kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining areas, pool and much more. There’s no more beautiful place to watch a sunrise or sunset than the porch. The proximity to hiking, the coast, nearby cities and beautiful small towns gave us new things to constantly explore. Additionally, Nohra was responsive and helpful whenever we needed anything, from practical questions to recommendations. Villa Spencer is an absolutely magical place that gave us a lifetime of memories. Can’t recommend it enough!

Idyllic perfection
We loved Villa Spencer…from the gorgeous building to the large grounds to explore…fantastic pool and tasteful decor. Nohra has thought of everything in this place with the little touches making all the difference. Having a choice of outside spaces to eat was a treat & we loved having fresh figs from the trees in the morning! Views are spectacular from the terraces, and oh so peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you so much.

Villa Spencer is Lovely
Great location. Beautiful property. The drive is not for the feint of heart, with lots of narrow back roads and tight switch-backs to navigate. Once there, it’s gorgeous with an incredible view… The kitchen, the outdoor table, the pool/deck, and that hammock! Bliss

An Idyllic Week in a Spectacular Villa
My family and some friends spent a week at the beautiful Villa Spencer in the South of France. It was an overwhelmingly positive experience. The place is immaculate and the grounds and views are extraordinary. It is the best place we have ever rented–and we have rented many lovely homes. The place is more expansive than it looks in the photos and we were lucky to have wonderful weather all week which allowed for all of our meals to be enjoyed outdoors.
Communication and check-in were great. The property manager was delightful and even bothered to follow up when I inquired about how to get a doctor’s appointment…. we never wanted to leave the Villa anyway! I imagine I will come back again and again to this enchanting place and I am grateful that the owner shared it with us!

Heavenly villa in the hills of Le Bar-sur-Loup
What a spectacular stay! We all felt we were so fortunate to stay in such a beautiful place. A very well appointed villa that lived extremely comfortably. The gardens were gorgeous and the pool turned out to be a perfect escape from the warm afternoons. Lots of space for everyone with many activities on the property to keep us busy, entertained and very happy. The large kitchen was well stocked with spices and basics and lots of extras that made cooking easy!… Le Bar-sur-Loup is a small town with several very good restaurants only a 10 min walk away. We took several trips through the hills on adventures and definitely preferred the D2210 as our favourite road -… Would definitely visit again. This truly was a heavenly villa.

What a wonderful holiday!
It was hard to believe that the house and views could be as stunning as the pictures, but they most certainly were! The house has been finished to the highest standard and has everything you would possibly need. The area is very quaint and as long as you book restaurants in advance, there is enough in the village to keep you busy for a week.
Nohra was very accommodating and helpful with our booking and answering any questions along the way. Would thoroughly recommend!

Great family venue
As a family group of 12 we had a fantastic holiday , shops are a 10 minute walk for the baguettes, Grasse 15 minutes on public transport, we had a great driver (Olivier), but we also had a car which is needed to maximise this location . The family loved the pool, table tennis and plenty of areas to have your own space.

Family and friends holiday
We enjoyed an excellent stay at Villa Spencer. We had a few snags but the owner was attentive and worked very hard to put things right promptly. I hope to come again.

Stunning property, Amazing service and experience
Nohra’s place (Villa Spencer) is a Stunning property. Very rustic and charming from the exteriors but modern, comfortable and spacious in the inside. The views from the entire house are breathtaking, beautiful sceneries go the French country side. The host Nohra, agent Sophie and the cleaner provided outstanding service. Always available if we needed. I would especially the cleaner that went above and beyond to help us when needed. The house is a nice 10 mins walk from the village. The walk and views are simply beautiful, The village itself is really charming and people were all really friendly. Our overall experience over Christmas with our family was everything we could have dreamed off. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to have the chance to stay there again in the future.

Gorgeous villa 5 stars
I stayed at Villa Spencer for a week with my family. The house was gorgeous, the views were stunning and the grounds were beautiful. The house is very well equipped, we did lots of cooking. There were games to play for adults as well as the children. We had a lovely time and would return within an instant. Nohra was very communicative and helpful. Definitely recommend Villa Spencer as a wonderful place to stay for a relaxing holiday.

Just fantastic!
We have just returned from our summer holiday at Villa Spencer. In total 11 of us stayed at the Villa (friends and family) and had the most amazing time. The Villa is a as beautiful as the pictures suggest. It was extremely peaceful and relaxing with stunning views. The Villa itself is very well equipped – it even has a good quality ice cream maker! The owner was always available if we had any questions during our stay and the whole process of booking, check in and check out was smooth and without problem. We have stayed in many villas in Europe over the years but this by far was our favourite. I can’t recommend it more highly.

Such a beautiful place with stunning views!
We organized a small week-long family gathering here, and it was absolutely perfect. Check-in and check-out were very smooth. The villa and grounds had room aplenty for everyone to gather, both inside and outside, as well as to withdraw if the bustle got too much. Nohra had great recommendations for all kinds of services and activities. The villa is super well-equipped, for both activities (fitness, table tennis, board games, etc.) and cooking. We cooked in the kitchen (or with the barbecue) for most meals and it had everything we needed. There were options to be both indoors and outdoors depending on the weather – the outdoor dining table particularly was wonderful. The pool is heavenly, especially the fact that it is warmed, as we were here early in the season. Finally, if you ever want to leave the villa, there is lots to do within driving distance, although the options within walking distance are a bit limited.

Villa Spencer is a haven of peace located in a charming village. The house is ideal for spending time with family or friends, time stops… heated swimming pool, table-football, ping pong, pétanque make it a perfect holiday location… Well organized space gives guests the opportunity to be cosy together as well and affording privacy in the many indoor and outdoor areas offered by the house. The sumptuous garden open onto a green valley with magnificent views… I strongly recommend Villa Spencer..

This is such a beautiful villa, with gardens, views, beautiful pool, a lot of space, very stylish. We loved the piece and quiet as well as the proximity to the village!

Have to go into print on our magical 2 weeks stay at this little slice of paradise. They say the view is everything and it is spectacular but there is much more to enjoy in this very private place. The stone villa is perched on a south-facing hill-side with views on every side from the different levels of terracing and relaxing spaces all around for all day al fresco living. Below is the olive grove which used to form part of the estate apparently when it was owned by Earl Spencer in the 70’s. Not difficult to imagine Diana running around here when she was little.

The pool area is the centre of it all externally and has a summer kitchen with toilet and shower as well as fridge/freezer for those essentials! I particularly enjoyed the solar shower after my swim which is open to the elements and has to be the best view from a shower ever. Pool itself is a good size with a deep end for ‘proper’ jumping and diving. There are also some pretty effective massage jets to if you haven’t arranged your own masseur to be with you – everything seems to have been thought of at Villa Spencer.

The main garden table can seat 12 in the flower garden convenient to the kitchen where we enjoyed candle lit dinners long into the warm nights. The villa is surrounded by lawns, grassy terraces and lots of shade from trees including old olives, figs and all kinds of fruit and nut. Not difficult to find some quiet spots to relax in. We had great bbq’s and drinks in the evening sun on the west terrace with the uninterrupted view to die for.

When we wanted exercise we would arrange family ‘funathelons’ competing at table tennis, table footie, pool games and the petanque court in the lower garden (take supply of cool drinks with you and chill!).

The villa itself is beautifully renovated and appointed to a very high standard – I think we were the first to rent it and think the owners have got it just right. It would sleep 12 comfortably but although we were eight, because of the way the accommodation is arranged on 3 floors, it didn’t feel too big. The villa is very light and airy with 7 double doors onto the terrace opening to the lovely views on 2 sides. The kitchen is the house hub and is like a magnet for everyone – being spacious with a breakfast bar, everything Bosch, including twin dishwashers, a true paradise!
